Product Overview
Cat.6 U/FTP is a screened data communication cable designed for structured local area networks, voice and data transmission and Gigabit Ethernet applications.
The cable consists of four twisted pairs of solid bare copper conductors, insulated with foam-skin polyethylene. Each pair is individually protected by laminated aluminium foil with a tinned copper contact wire. No overall screen is used.
Available sheath constructions include PVC and halogen-free LSHF/LSOH/FRNC options. The blue outer jacket is specified as RAL 5012.

Technical notes: Values above are nominal transmission characteristics from the source catalogue. Category 6 is specified up to 250 MHz; the 300 and 400 MHz rows are additional manufacturer reference measurements, not an extension of the Cat.6 rating. Outer diameter is given as a range because individual sheath constructions may vary.
