The H07V-U is a harmonised single-core electrical wire with a Class 1 solid bare copper conductor and PVC insulation. It is intended for fixed installation inside conduits, closed cable ducts, electrical panels and distribution boards in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The cable is suitable for laying in pipes installed on or under plaster and for internal wiring of machinery, switchgear and distribution systems.
H07V-U is commonly used for protected fixed wiring in residential buildings, commercial facilities and industrial electrical installations. Typical applications include electrical cabinets, switchboards, distribution boards, control panels, machinery wiring and wiring installed inside conduits or closed cable ducts.
The cable has a rated voltage of 450/750 V and PVC TI1 insulation. It is flame-retardant according to IEC 60332-1-2 and classified Eca according to EN 50575. The maximum conductor operating temperature is 70°C, while the minimum bending radius for fixed installation is four times the cable outer diameter. H07V-U is not intended for direct laying under plaster.
